The Eton Boys were a popular male vocal quartet of the 1930s. The group supplied music for some early Max Fleischer's Betty Boop cartoons and other early sound films. The group also had a radio show with Ray Bloch on the CBS network. Cliff Edwards supplies the jazz interest with his wonderful improvised vocal solos that he called "effin". Edwards is particularly hot on his version of the St. Louis Blues.
