Fred Culley was a Canadian bandleader of the early 1920s. In the mid-1920s he and his brother Ed joined Waring's Pennsylvanians. In 1929 the brothers left the band and returned to Canada and formed a band that played at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto (100 Front Street West) until 1932 when the orchestra broke up and Fred Culley returned to the Pennsylvanians as the musical director. He remained with the band until his death in 1966. |
