Birmingham Bluetette was a psuedonym used for two distinct recording sessions. The Herwin label used this name for the song "Back Home Blues" that Paramount released as Jones' Paramount Charleston Four calling the song "Homeward Bound Blues". calling the song "Homeward Bound Blues". The flip side of "Old Man Blues" seems to have no relation to that session and is thought to be a session directed Jimmy Blythe.
